Rollercoaster Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

Rollercoaster

Boy, I'm a man of culture,
Likes funs and much music;
I'm like yesterday movie you watched
I'm getting old one day or maybe soon,
So My heart do spin round and round;
I often scream as kids in the rollercoaster.
Like baby turtle in the womb of the sea.
Boy, it's winter and all the rivers,
Are frozening out all of their dirts
For without death we won't value life;
Boy, i wish you could tell this to your dad,
Who always talk of my past mistakes;
I had done in many years gone before,
And sometimes will slap me in his anger.
I know he want us to think for ourselves
Not following the blind way with wild eyes;
Rising and moving, skies are beyond horizons
Boy, tell him I have come to know the world----
Is more bigger than his little bubble;
The devil was clever but heaven is now wiser
Tell him I have forgiven him and prayed for him.
