Rooster Boosters Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Rooster Boosters

Rating: 3.5

My children have grown to become
a well rounded Lass and Chum

Never getting in such a mess
that would put me in distress

Well....maybe a few small bumps
but we all need to take our lumps

Their good always out-ways the bad
There's more happy times then sad

Many adults compliment them so
and that is how I know

If I were a rooster
They would be my booster

I'd stick my chest up high
and wear it with great pride

For a gift a child is heaven sent
It's God's holy gift they represent

Thank you my rooster boosters

JoJo, all children have their off moments. I've got three and I've been there. The good in them out ways any bad. A loving tribute to your children. Top marks from me and thank you for sharing it. David
