Roots Poem by raghukul bhushan

Roots

24) ROOTS

respect for the roots
always uprooted my feet
in the world.
and I remain
uprooted even today;
but the roots,
still stronger,
keep me rooted
into the greener,
fresher and fairer
regions.

No loss could ever
trample my spirits-
richer I grow,
immeasurably,
with the wealth
of strong roots
and
traditions radiant.
