Rose &. Thorn
We need to love,
With all our hearts.
And accept the
Unlovable side
Of the other
Partner.Because
Of imperfection.
For anyone
Can love a rose.
But only great
Hearts can
Love a thorn.
What an outstanding piece of poetry! True, everyone can love a rose. But one who can love a thorn is a true lover. Because life is not a bed of roses, and if you want to enjoy the roses, you have to learn to accept it's thorns as well. Keep writing!
