Roses Brides And Butterflies Poem by Marilyn Lott

Roses Brides And Butterflies

Rating: 5.0

Oh how wonderful it is
When summer time arrives
Everything is so beautiful
As nature’s favorites come alive

Roses of pink, yellow and reds
Compete with other blooms
Brides in long white dresses
Walking out to meet their grooms

Fluffy stuff adorn the trees
Blossoms of fruit trees burst
More weddings are arranged
Brides and her party all rehearse

Parks are packed with colors
And the greens are brilliant too
Every shade of green imaginable
As leaves open and renew

Butterflies will flutter
Their wings of brilliant tones
And the air is sweet with the fragrance
Of flowers and grass freshly mown

Oh yes, I love the summer
As I hear the soaring Eagle cry
And summer always brings us
Roses Brides and Butterflies!
