Roses Of Babylon Poem by Emmanuel Oladipupo

Roses Of Babylon

Rating: 5.0

That thou will turn away thy wrath
And turn thy arrow of anger from me
That thou will deliver my bones from hurt
And lessen thy vengeance and fury on me.

Hide not your face from thine handwork
On me your compassion I pray, bestow
In fury cast me away not thou my rock
Deliver me from fowls, eyes of the owl.

That thou will shew mercy unto thy servant
And forgive the sins of thine inheritance
Though I be small in thy presence as ant
Remember the days thy praise always I chants

Let thy name on my lips like honey be
Let thy song from my mouth of love theme
My dances in thy house for proving thee
Let the words in my heart forever thine.
