Round White Parts Poem by Stan Polanski

Round White Parts

Rating: 5.0

This morning on the way to town
In the first new light of dawn
A clearing sky unveiled to me
A raft of long sleek clouds
As creamy-pale and still
As the smooth bellies of so many fish
Suspended motionless in a transparent sea.

And they were your arms, your thighs,
And all your round white parts.

I see the angels and nymphs their naked beauty in your watercolour sky painting.
