Royal Fecund Poem by michael andrew

Royal Fecund

He holds no throne this king
no realm to reign nor a crown
to wear, or a queen to love
no loyal subjects to tax
or jester to be amused
no royal feast to be served
or exotic silk to be worn
without any gold treasure to hoard
he is a new -born king
an infant in arms, he
suckles royal milky breasts
his future is to reign
to sit on his fathers throne
to wear his crown
he is the royal hope
from the loins of the king
a royal fecund.
