Ruby’s Fashion Show Poem by Marilyn Lott

Ruby’s Fashion Show

When Ruby had a fashion show
Almost everyone took part
The way those ladies strutted
Well, it came right from the heart

They wore the latest in fashion
The gals and yes the guys
Some were oh so funny
We had a few tears in our eyes

Colorful and in both fashion
And personality too
But they put on quite a show
They knew just what to do

One guy was a fisherman
Even had the hat and pole
We got to laughing so hard
We almost did a roll

So many unique outfits
Why I even saw the tin man
And then there was the lady
Attached to her skirt were cans

Of course we expect the best
When the show’s put on by Ruby
She works very hard, you know
And considers it her duty!
