Rug Rats Poem by Sheena Blackhall

Rug Rats

Bing Crosby, blue-eyed Frank in cabaret,
Were never seen without a good toupee
John Wayne and Humphrey Bogart wore a wig
So obvious, that everyone could twig

Burt Reynolds and Sean Connery liked a rug
To boost their vanity and keep them snug

Whilst Charlie Sheen over a Beaujolais
Occasionally misplaced his toupee

But who in the first throes of their decay
Would not hide baldness with a fine toupee

Better than a comb-over or a weave
The toupee was best formed to deceive
