I like haggis, Lochnagar
Rumblethumps, the colour purple
I like to stir my words
With a Scottish spurtle
I dislike the sea, cold porridge
Bony kippers, midgies & John Knox
My childhood bouts of croup
Hand knitted sweaters & socks
I like Auld Reekie, Robert Fergusson
Burns, fiddles, Aberdeen's grey town
St Machar's soaring walls
Plainsong and ancient ballads handed down
And typical; Scots faces
Red cheeks, fiery hair
And Morven, ben of mists
A mountain that's a hallowed, holy stair
But most of all, the creatures that we share
This land of Scotland with
Crow, eagle, stag and polecat
Heron, hare

In Wales we have crows and sheep in great abundance. Another gem, another 5*
