Ruins Poem by Darlan M Cunha

Ruins

A house in ruins, such as the one
the one where I was born, shows its context
to clarify unknown facts, yes
a ruined house attracts attention
the psychological construction of passers-by,
questions come up, conjectures
like those of a river about this or that village
that it cuts in half, oh, a village in ruins speaks less
than just a house in pieces.
