Runner Poem by John Shea

Runner

Rating: 5.0

When I was young I ran
As fast as I could in a tram

It was a vehicle of life
Not sanctioned by my wife.

Now I run for fun
Fun in the sun

The sun and the burn
The sanction we must learn.

I run, its insane
With my heart and my cane

Ran for cover
And another lover

Runner and lover
Simply under cover.
