Running Out Of Time Poem by robyn nathan

Running Out Of Time

I am running out of time you say
I say I am completely out of time and existing in a void
In this moment there is nothing left of us
All desires and dreams to disappear as if never existing
We are not held together in moments of passion
So dissolve me here into this void of unfeeling emotion
Not affording love
Pretence and promise

Time is running out you say
I will be then a fleeting breath
Gathering all my love within
Wandering into this void of no time
Waiting The perfection of completeness
The fleeting breath of deep knowing

When you ask me is it painful
I can tell you it is the deepest pain
Only equalled to the deepest joy
So let me understand love
Let me weep
Let me run towards you
Let me run away
I will float in this deep still void until I don't need to anymore

Come into this world then
Let those with eyes see
I am empty yet full
I am all and every single thing I imagine
Dance with me
Living this illusive moment

I am writing this poem for you
An enchantment
But which of us is enchanted
I am in an enchantment day after day
Wash over me
Reveal me
Reveal to me
Love would find me and give me everything
Taking everything
And I will know my own wholeness
knowing I am completely out of time
You will always leave me wanting more when I have everything
It is the nature of desire

Everything to bring me to this point of self
I am nothing else
