Rupture Poem by Shirley K.W. Ka

Rupture

A simple kiss,
A warming wrap...
Passionate emotions created ripples in effect…
Angry radiation disguised;
Cloaked in red:
As love crashed;
And sound waves hit,
Like aggressive shock waves in attack.
Heart-quakes...
Heart aches....
The crust, it cracks...
Heart plates pulled and torn apart
Magma pushes to the top
Like a raging Dragon spouting fire:
Lava shoots out,
Meandering...
Eroding...through the flesh.
I BURN:
Crumpling...
Crumbling into ash.
