Rush - Poem by Daniel Isaac Gordon

Why do ye rush to Heaven,
Thy God on high to greet?
Why doth ye fly on skyward,
Winged sandals on thy feet?

For God hath sent His angels
And His love in thee instilled
That ere ye flee to Paradise
Thine own, here, ye may build.
