Ryukyu Meditation - Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

Fragrance of double nine cakes
ascends heavenward

Sanshin sounds in the village street
Pink and white dogberry blooms
festoon temple and every domicile

We ascend Mount Miyako
at sunrise to launch kites

Poet Mao Jian Sheng
sings as we climb
