The long lost Shangri-la you've been longing for, has finally been revealed - São Miguel

Sunset

As the sun sets over São Miguel,
The darkness beckons,
The night calls,
You must now surrender to its tranquility.

"I'll dream of you tonight"

Knowing that tomorrow will never come,
Will make the night seem as long as the darkest of dark's.

"My eyes will close,
Your image will remain and sleep I will,
For you are never gone,
When you are in my dreams"... São Miguel

Sunrise

You wake from your peaceful sleep,
Not sure where you are just yet,
You are drawn to your balcony window,
By the sound of the gentle waves clapping on the shore.

Looking out over the Atlantic,
Far into the distance,
Only a wall is seen,
A wall of darkness.

Soon a glow starts to emerge,
Separating the sky from the ocean,
It is sunrise,

"It is you"

Its glow slowly increasing until sunlight bursts trough...
The crack of dawn is upon you.

It is the silent crack of freedom,
Only seen by those with morning purpose,
Where sunlight first escapes the darkness night,
The first time the ocean touches the sky.

"The first time my eyes gaze upon you"

You are frozen in disbelief,
As you feel the sunrise of your dreams.
The sunrise only seen..
From shores of São Miguel..

Volcano

Quiet & Unassuming,
yet...
Deep down a volcano that once erupted,
Has now been tamed,
And bears its passion for you.

With steaming geysers,
Hot springs,
And bubbling muds,
Your senses will delight,
As you bask in the glowing sunlight,
That is São Miguel's natural wonders.

Soon you are transported away,
Letting your body immerse itself,
In its new-found heaven...

Let go... Let go... Let go...
Gone.
