Sacred Poem by Harlequin Rose

Sacred

It was a love story
that took the form of sacred ceremonies
we approached the moment
with childlike wonder and recklessness
we skipped breakfast many mornings
to soak our tongues in ecstasy...

Woman...
we do and undo what has not been undone
a fusion of exact moments
extracted without asking
and you...
you push deeper into everything I hate
my defenses have no weapons
count your blessings
for I will love you into legend.

It was a moment of pure eternity
that was willing to die
to prove it was real.
