Sacred Texts Speak In Concise Words Poem by Mohammad Younus

Sacred Texts Speak In Concise Words

Sacred texts speak in concise words—
The Torah, the Gospels, the Quran.
Yet within their quiet verses
Lies the world's profoundest wisdom.
But nothing explains so vividly,
So purely, as creation itself—
A language older than time,
Written in the rhythm of the earth,
Sung in the breath of the wind.

Even the simplest things—
A humble stone, a fleeting cloud—
Hold the deepest lessons.
The sky that arches above,
Endless and eternal,
Teaches patience and perspective.
The wind that sweeps the fields
Whispers secrets of change and grace.
The trees, rooted deep,
Speak of resilience and growth.

In each moment, nature calls,
Its silence louder than sermons.
For in the world around us,
The divine stands unveiled—
A testament of wisdom
In every leaf, every ray of light—
A symphony of life,
Inviting us to listen and learn
The simple, sacred truth.
