Sad Interlude Poem by Tribhuvan Mendiratta

Sad Interlude

Sad Interlude -
Letting the pain intrude.
Everything seems falling apart;
Finality achingly evident.
Silence and pretense - entwined;
Ennui's malice confined;
A Penchant for cyanide news
Creates eerie disquietude
Yes, there is that urge to cry
Heart swells like murky sky
Even puppets do animate
Why to contain human trait
Tears just linger - Oh My My!
The heart inside will never die.
Tears well up in the eyes;
Finally roll down by and by.
