Sadness Poem by Chris Townsend

Sadness

Take me serious find me a joke,
Within man kind I don’t have any hope,
I stand a child among such very strong men,
As I am caged, locked within my pen,
I write my heart so as to release my soul,
If I am honest, my life is as it is, no goal,
I talk to myself I am strange to the eye,
I don’t really care, If you pass me by,
Shallow grey my fear is deep within,
I am a little boy, I live deep red sin,
So take me as I am, please leave me alone,
I am a shadowed existence, I have no home,
I am what I am I am not really here,
Shadowed existence, hatred fear...
