Someone I Used To Know Poem by Chris Townsend

Someone I Used To Know

I am so sorry, I know you never asked for this,
Just a solitary moment of lapse, a quiet, cold, kiss,
Forgive me for my sins, I just thought you knew,
That the love between us, the heart felt me and you,
I hold an image, a picture of a woman cold and blue,
I look upon your image, a tear falling, I am sorry its you.
Come back to me, when ever you can,
Take me to your mind, time drifting sand,
My breath is slow, my heart is in pain,
I yearn for your sense of adventure, the killing game,
I think of you,
I constantly do,
My angel from afar, your warm embrace,
Take me away, this human race,
I know within no thoughts of peace,
I let myself go, my mind to release,
I cry, I feel, so all alone,
Time holds no barriers, wont you come home,
