Safe Harbour Poem by Len de Kock

Safe Harbour

This boat has a harbour
Sets sails with a purpose
to go do what has to be done
storms or calm waters
sunset or sun rise
rain less days
waves as big as monsters
rocks far away
battles lost or won
fresh water in my harbour
still sea miles away
I’ll be back I say
im home bound and on the way
to be with you
the longing of our hearts
calms down all storms
waves gently on shores
the night slips away
