Sailing Through



Grant me serenity
To pierce through clouds unyielding
Despite voices slipping into shrieks
All forbidding and darksome
Until I perceive skies gorgeous
And it dawns upon me in a moment bounteous
Those who rejoice in sunset and sunrise
Sailing through clouds appallingly awesome
Would reach the Promised Land and find themselves at ease
