Salem
Was too far to see face
Even shape in fullness.
He relaxed, stretched
Freely bot his legs…
In space extended.
He sat on thick branch
-lowered and parallel
-almost on the ground
-as if bench, chair or such
Head covered with a cap
Colourful, Andean
On the sides two flaps…
Beauty was angel
Her white wings spread…
Snow sat white and calm
On trees and grass…
The dead leaves were beneath
The endless, large bedsheet…
Could feel the music
Waving soft and with peace…
Even dead whose graves
Were under white level
Busily did praise:
-greatness of winter
-with snow when fresh…

Salem the Hebrew word for peace, is quite fitting to my favorite season, Winter is the second spring where every snowflake is a whirling diamond. Bless you for this
True...the word means peace and winter is peaceful if in right time and right place...as I was lucky to catch it...thanks a lot for such a rich comment.
