Santa, No More Socks! (A Poem For Children) Poem by Jojoba Mansell

Santa, No More Socks! (A Poem For Children)

Dear Santa, here’s a message,
a point I’d like to make.
I feel I need to tell you, no more socks,
for heaven’s sake!

Last year I got a blue pair,
with furry little tassels.
They were only good to hand-wash,
now that was such a hassle!

Two years ago you brought a pair,
with pockets for each toe.
But how to get them on my feet,
I didn’t really know!

Three years ago a stripy pair,
was left inside my stocking.
Lime green, neon pink and baby blue,
the colour choice was shocking!

So dearest Santa, if you please,
no more socks I do not like.
If you want to bring me something,
how about a nice new bike?
