Goddess of learning, speech
Let my prayerful welcome be addressed to her.

The alphabet,
Language,
Sound, musical melody.

My salutation to
Goddess of Learning,
My obeisance to
Her,
Let she accept
My offering of dhupa, dipa and fala-fula.

Pushparba nivedan
