Sate Poem by Abdul AlSerri

Sate

I'm a satelite.
Never objecting, I'm a satelite peering across as I'm dragged around.
I effect more then I can comprehend, bearing witness upon you who shows none of me. The orbit from this syndicate invoked to rip me apart.
I'm a satelite, my core though writhed coalesces strong.
As time drags on it leaves decay, and as it falls it paves our way.
My fractured pieces are blamed by regret.
The pain brings nothing, to show just pain.
I'm a satelite with scars.
They gaze from afar as if I'm past the stars.
These scars are sentinent to the men with metal hearts and plastic eyes.
I'm a satelite, I'm not alone but drifting far.
Each round I think I'm getting closer, each round I'm losing hope.
I'm a satelite, one day I'll drift away.
You asked so much, and still expecting me to stay.
Theres a void in your life now that once was filled.
This void will evaporate though my fate remains.
My comfort lies in this passing day.
