Saturday Poem by letlhogonolo sepato

Saturday

Rating: 4.0

Saturday,
When it's your turn people go mad,
When it's your day everyone feels like going out
When it's Saturday, betrayals and hatred are common
When it's my call, I still miss my Saturday moments
Saturday!
You stole my happiness,
Destroyed my moods
Murdered my opinions.
You went on raping poor ones
Brought suffering upon others
And changed the youth.
You taught them to drink alcohol
You helped them to see the importance of smoking weed
And then again, You Saturday
You produced many babies.
Saturday,
Who curses you?
Who told you when you come everything must be YOLO?
Who lied to you that you're the only best day for events?
Who gave you the authority to change the minds of them people?
Saturday,
Nna ke itse ole Lamatlhatso,
Nna ke itse ole letsatsi leo motho a ikhutshang ka lone mo tirong yotlhe ya gagwe
Nna ke itse ole monate go gaisa malatsi otlhe
Nna ke itse wena, Lamatlhatso ole letsatsi leo mongwe le mongwe a eletsang go ka le bona

But you're not the same Saturday I used to know,
You're not who I thought you were
You're not like during those days when I could just say It's a Happy Day
Saturday, You're not Saturday any more
To me, you're SatanDay
Yes you Saturday!
