I want to be alone
But it’s something I can’t do,
I need your help to get me through.

I want you to understand what’s going on in my head,
Without me saying anything.

Help me breathe,
Let me fight,
Allow me to see,
And choose what’s right.

Take my hand,
Don’t let me pull away,
Tell me all that you can to make me stay.

Speak to me when I refuse to listen,
Show me all of the things I know I’m missing.

Let me talk,
Though I say I don’t want to.

Join me on a walk,
I’ll explain everything to you.

Don’t walk away when I shout what I don’t mean,
You are everything to me.

Please don’t close the door,
I don’t want to be alone anymore.

Help me open my eyes to what I can be,
I need your love to set me free.
