Save Me From Myself Poem by Rafaella Gunz

Save Me From Myself

Laying here.
All alone.
Craving your touch.
Wanting desperately to hear your voice.
I need to be saved
from myself.
I think I need you
to help me break through.
Do you need me
to save you, too?
Saving each other.
Hand in hand.
Two dim stars
falling from the sky.
Diving together
into a pool of darkness.
At least we're not alone.
At least I'm not alone.
You're out there,
hurting.
I want to take
the pain from you.
I'm already
destroyed.
A little more won't hurt much.
And you can be free.
Without me.
I can save you,
even if you don't
want to save me, too.
