Save us from this shameful fate
Of becoming a generation spawned from hate

Soldiers go over to die
But all they see is a blood painted sky

Save us from being ruined beyond repair
And from widows weeping in despair

Children are lost without a trace
As the cry with a tear stained face

Save us from surrendering our soul
Along with our hearts, from becoming a blackened hole

Humans blind to there disgrace
As we fight for peace, which is a endless race

But most of all, save us from becoming insane
Because these are not mere words, it is actual pain
