Saved Poem by Morgan Scales

Saved

Rating: 5.0

Saved
You don’t know how long I’ve strived,
For my soul to be revived.
Of all the times I fell.
My soul you’d never sell.

You spoke to my heart.
The sins you set me apart.
When my life started to cave,
My God was still there to save.

Like footprints in the sand,
Now walking hand and hand.
Standing by my side,
Your work I’ll always abide.

My shadow of the day.
You’re always here to stay.
The protector of the night,
Letting in the light.

I was so very blind,
Never had time to unwind.
A thanks to god from me.
My love has helped me see.

A thanks to god from me Think God is what you meant, typo perhaps: P Sounds like he does the job for you and as a heathen atheist, Im not sure if I should pity or envy you...
