Saving Time Poem by David Blake

Saving Time

Falling through the trees
and dreams I look to you
to find the truth. Among
the shadows, you sleep
unaware of the darkness.
Silences and sleepy
eyes watering with tears
as the years slowly
descend and become
eternity. Yet you are
unaware of my sorrow
and pain and I find it
strange you never knew.
