Savior In Hell Poem by Rik Bertrand

Savior In Hell

Rating: 5.0

I am walking in the sewers of hell
Oh the devilish stories I could tell.
My mission here is a simple one,
And I shall stay until it's done.

I find those who were unduly wronged,
And ensure that their pain in not prolonged.
I round up their souls and toss them to heaven
To our sweet lord, who has already forgiven.

I have captured broken hearts discarded
It was easy for they were left unguarded.
The devil is cruel when it comes to destruction,
But I have mended these hearts for future production.

These sewers of hell are hard to transverse,
but the wrongs that I see, will be totally reversed.
My mission is clear, and my soul is engaged
Yet all that I see here has my emotions enraged.

The powers that be are my guide my strength and my will
But I am motivated by rage, for that's how I feel.
I am only one man fighting the war of the lost,
And I shall save all I can, no matter the cost.

REB (MARCH 2012) because sometimes you have to reach down and pull the righteous from Hell.
