Saviour Poem by sodoko zavaki

Saviour

I pound on the door and yell out with all my soul
I feel nothing
No feelings flow through me
Whenever I smile it's fake
Tears threaten to emerge but I force them away
Why am I here? Why was I brought to this world? To make me suffer? Or am I just a useless feature that is ignored by everyone?
I hear a voice calling my name
It's telling me to get back on my feet
I slowly stand up
The dark room that I am in slowly lights up and the door opens setting me free
