Saw Venus Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Saw Venus

Saw Venus

Saw Venus on the run
-was shouting Aphrodite
-'Go and hide, don't come out
-Kathleen is here…'
-every part was perfect
-'Mr. Ali? '
-she questioned
-both of them in jackets
-on it said 'UPS'

He is old and with cane
-has had ops of knee cap
-his taken; has replaced

Wears new thin moustache
-'Here is Kathleen! '
-he told me
-'Help me God…'
-mesmerised, I whispered
-prayed to keep my calm
-not to fall and pass out

She was the death angel
-mouth and chest to the legs
-no one dares to say the:
-'Needs a touch…to perfect.'

We spoke and inside
-her brain, behaviour
-were even shinier

Her words well-selected
-a learned and humble
-not even seen college

In air force brother
-an artist, boyfriend
-lovingly was jealous…

Cannot say what I felt…
-sure was sun to dark day…
