Say Sorry.. Poem by Jodie Louise Pollock

Say Sorry..

You apologize to me again,
Say your sorry,
You claim you love me,
And i believe you,

I catch you again,
You say your sorry,
I say its okay,
And i believe you,

It happens again,
You say it didnt,
I forgive you,
And i believe you,

This poem could have hundreds of verses,
Each verse represents one thing; me,
Each time i find out,
Each time you apologize,
I smile, nod, allow you to love me,

But i walk away with my heart in my throat,
And a blade in my pocket,
After each apology, another scar appears,
I have lost count,
But have not lost pain,
Or hope..
The hope hurts more than the pain,
Please? Say sorry again..
