Say Versus Say Poem by Raymond Farrell

Say Versus Say

We, yes we
Have no Say
But They Say
We have the right
To say what we please
(Within certain legal constraints)
But We know
The say
They are talking about
Is little better
Than the agonizing screams
Of those poor wretches
Standing in the gas chambers
Just as the gas
Was released
We want
A real Say
But They Say
say away
For as long as you like
But nothing
Is going to change
Because We know
When They Say, say
In relation
To our rights
They don't mean Say
They only mean say.
