Listen to the aye-sayers;
Pay heed to the nay-sayers
For point and counter-point;
As Lear did with his fool,
As we did once in school.
Hear the syncophants and flatterers,
The realists and truists,
But in the end what matters,
Is the voice between your ears,
The sooth-sayer of future years.
