Scared Poem by LilyAnn McCambridge

Scared

It seems that every single day, he sends another soul my way.
To repair in them, what I see in me, I can't escape, he won't let me be.
I long to see a hope, a smile, upon their faces and all the while;
I struggle in my own despair, the moods swing up, down and everywhere.
I refuse to let them feel like me, I've been down so long, I can hardly see.
It makes me feel I accomplished love, when I use his strength from up above.
To heal their darkness, with my light, and all the while, there's no end in sight.
I walk on and on and wonder where, my someone is, who can do their share.
To bring to me this gift of love, this brilliance of the whitest dove.
Does this person exist for me, I'm scared to wait, I'm scared to see.

Hi Lily, keep searching, keep asking God for guidance. When your heart is truly open to God, God will respond....I believe this with all my being. May the blessings be.
