I'm scared to commit
For this lonely heart to submit
I'm scared of the pain
And for crying in the rain
I'm scared of missing you
At solitary moments when I most need you
I'm scared of you touch
That makes me tremble and such
I'm scared to taste your palatable tongue
When in your arms I'm swung
I'm scared of having you in my dreams tonight
For you to set my being alight
I'm scared of loving you...
Petrified of needing you
I'm scared of standing on that lonely shore
