'Scars With Tears, Love Fights Upon' - Poem by Kevin Wang

Falling times that bring misery
cymbals crashing with each note of sadness
passing time with notes crumbling down
soothing music brings out the tears in me

why oh why must I ask
is that little note always off tune
why can't adjust to be with the flow
sadden days sadden times as golden grains fall away

broken hourglass by the ruins
treasured much within here
but with many scars along with tears
how so how so can this be

these sad days
with a touch of gloom
the next day would be wiped away
can't I see the mirror of me?
Can't I talk to the other side of you?
why are these days times years moons breaking down

flowing swaying with the music in me
in parting away from you now
as these are my memories of you and me so happily made
but at least the worst has ended with a terrible ping

there's more than meets that little eye
cuz these silver tears have more to say
like that little puppy who once ran away
but now I'd like to say
these tears are only the deep ache in my heart
with happiness and love I will still thee forever
