Scary Time Poem by Justin Nyamoko

Scary Time

Earth, my soul shall depart;
The crusade of my ancestors it shall join;
Earth below the mourning being I shall leave;
Engulfed by darkness beyond dark
As happily I will be watching.

Earth, my soul shall depart,
Quenching the thirst of happiness;
To rest I will be sent,
With my expensive jet;
With clothes I never wore
When I breathed.

Before long Earth I shall depart;
All good deeds shall resurrect;
Like safari ants, fleets of cars,
Escorting the carcass to rest;
To his lonely mansion below Earth
And crocodile tears shall fill the ocean.

Before long Earth I shall depart,
Leaving the things once adored;
In my jet unjoined;
Not even with my lovers,
To the land scary alone I shall travell
