Scorching Achilles' Heel - Poem by Patrick Bateman
Tears have painted
the portrait of too many;
staked claim on the
vitality of the undeserving.
Tears are the aggregate
of scorched hearts
Consequently,
Condensation – embers
Conflagrate
with scorn’s spark,
Igniting a jocund Hades,
Waltzing on promise
Tears cannot extinguish
the inferno in which
they dispense…
so…
effortlessly~
