Scrabble - Poem by Judy Meibach
Eating and sleeping are things
I like to do,
but I'd far from consider them pastimes,
I don't think you would,
my passion for words,
creating them I'd say.
has led me towards the game of Scrabble,
a game I like to play.
Those z's and x's and j's and q's
They need to be put into words,
so help me!
I only have seven tiles in my hand.
There are only so many a, e, i, o and u's
to go around-
and I need to have the perfect sound.
What if you have
just the letters I need -
I'd plead with you
to exchange them in
That would be SUCCESS
and you know what I mean.
A seven letter word
and 50 extra points for me!
