Scrappy Do And The Lost Keys Poem by Shashank Sharma

Scrappy Do And The Lost Keys

Rating: 5.0

Scrappy dappy do, went on a ride-
To the market place, out of countryside
Singing and whistling, by the roadside
Looking and smiling, at birds in their hide.

Scrappy dappy do, took a left turn-
Checked for money, in his money urn
Another left, another left then a right turn
Reached the toffee shop at the last turn.

Scrappy dappy do, put his bike on stand-
Went to the toffee shop with money in his hand
Orange toffee, mango toffee of different different brand
Lost in them he lost his keys, off his little hand.

Scrappy dappy do started crying 'What should I do?
How will I go back home, what should I do?
What will I tell my mother what should I do?
How will I go back home, what should I do? '

Scrappy dappy do, found a keymaker at a turn-
Gave him all his money, in his money urn
He got a new key, took a U-turn
Another right, another right then a left turn.

Scrappy dappy do, went on a ride
From the marketplace to his countryside
Singing and whistling, by the roadside
Looking and smiling, at birds in their hide
