Searched By Crackles Poem by Onoma 888

Searched By Crackles

A shadow's nook of nook sprays
crickets--the sun like a Roman circus, spoils lions.
As hand-signs are made underground to disturb sleep, the
earth slides into earth to pass a
mortuary of stillness.
Drawing leaves to a crisp, that lose
their sounding to a turn.
Only to reissue from feet out of doors, searched by crackles.
Moved through a deafness so alert
it scares at its own coming.
Where night is a disappearance cast down--headon with lights within lights.
A narrow body's preliminaries to a
total loss of control--what will set
a very long path.
