Searching Poem by Robert Matkovic

Searching

I shine ever so brightly
The gleam wavers before seen
hearts desire amongst
The moving planets and seas

For my soul is a void
a bounded empty place
Seated in only emptiness in the darkest of space

Ever searching for a draw of breath
forever falling short
I hunger for the truth in me
but what I seek is death

Wow, a great dark poem, like it.
